I knew I needed to get something together, so I stopped by Dollar Tree this week to see what they had.  I found a good selection of items, and put my whole box together for less than $10.

More ideas for what to add

I like these for a calm down box as well.  We’ve previously purchased the tangle to add to ours, and the timer is next!  I had one as a kid and would watch it for hours.  It’s definitely calming.
